Sandwich and Scripture:Wednesdays, 11:30 am-1:00 pm
Bring your lunch and discuss the upcoming Bible text for next week's sermon in order to know more about their historical settings as well as their meaning for our lives. Coffee is provided.
Companions in Christ
"Companions in Christ" is the material we will be using as a small group at
this meeting. The plan is to meet about once a month at each other’s houses
for dinner followed by Bible study.
A snippet from "Companions in
Christ" (p. 7), "This resource focuses on your experience of God and your
discovery of spiritual practices that help you share more fully in the
life of Christ . . .
“You will be exploring the potential of Christian community as an
environment of grace and mutual guidance through the Spirit . . .
“How does Companions in Christ help you grow spiritually?
“It enables you to immerse yourself in ‘streams of living waters’ through
the spiritual disciplines of prayer, scripture, ministry, worship, study and
Christian conversation. These means of grace are the common ways in which
Christ meets people, renews their faith, and deepens their life together in
love."
Prayer Ministry Team
A prayer chain prays regularly for members and special requests. Please contact the church office if you have a prayer request. You don't have to identify the specific subject; you may just ask for prayer, etc. If you prefer, you may simply give first names or initials. All prayers are confidential.
Bridges to Christ - Women's Service and Fellowship Group
Fellowship and service among Lutheran women meets first Monday night, 6:45 pm monthly throughout the school year.
